Who’s ready for Grand Canyon road trip?
A recent Coronavirus Travel Sentiment Index Report showed that most Americans’ wanderlust is still alive and well — but, cautious. The good news? National and state parks are some of the most popular spring destinations!
Of the 50% of Americans planning travel in the near term, 44% are exclusively considering domestic travel and 38% are looking for less crowded destinations. Lots of travelers are planning road trips instead of booking flights, and opting for the great outdoors over urban exploring.
When you feel ready to safely hit the road, you can take advantage of some wildly cool Airbnbs near Grand Canyon South Rim.
Here are ten unique Grand Canyon South Rim Airbnbs:

I personally stayed in this A-frame tiny house, and can’t wait to return!
The glass side wall swings up to convert to a patio roof, transforming the space to an outdoor paradise – great for relaxing or stargazing. The location was the most peaceful and private spot of all my Grand Canyon stays. The hosts are so kind and welcoming, with a passion for sustainability and hospitality.
Bonus: They provide a park pass, saving you $35 Grand Canyon entry fee! Plus add-on options for extra charge like sauna, yoga, and sound healing.
Price: 137 per night.
This clear solar-powered dome has bedtime views of shooting stars at a super convenient location right off 64.
I wouldn’t recommend staying during the colder months as the bubble is not insulated or sealed, but I’d happily book again in the blazing summer season.
The hosts are helpful enough by message but definitely more hands-off in their management style, and were off-property during my stay. As they’re a super new property, I have faith that they’ll work out the few minor kinks very soon!
